On Wednesday, March 8th, we lit the town purple With the help of Honorees Zayda Ortiz and Malden Overcoming Addiction, the Zonta Club of Malden was joined by the Girl Scouts to honor International Women’s Day. Donation of 50 Blessing Bags to Portal to Hope and Respond Inc. We are excited to be able to help families that are scared about leaving their difficult situations and most of the time leave with only the cloths on their backs. These bags were put together by our amazing members and supporters.

ZONTA CLUB OF MALDEN SCHOLARSHIP and RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Each year, the Zonta Club of Malden awards scholarships to academically qualified, graduating high school seniors. The student must be a resident of Malden and accepted at a four-year university, college, or nursing school. The scholarship, up to the amount of $1,000, is awarded based on academic standing and financial need.
